We will make every effort to keep all of the athletes from the same school together. Any holes in your line-up, we will fill with Free Agent wrestlers. We will be using a “draft” a few days prior to camp to close any holes you have. We will have a list of FREE AGENT wrestlers with weights and credentials. Coaches will then pick which ones they’d like to add to their team. Order of the draft will be random each round. Each coach can pass or be finished at any point.

Awards:
The winning team of the duals will take home a new Resilite wrestling mat. Alternatively, club teams or those not needing a mat can choose custom-made Adidas wrestling shoes for every team member. All-Star participants will receive a Noke Wrestling singlet, showcasing their accomplishments in Roanoke's top wrestling event.

Rules:

Team Camp Match Rules

We will be using 2-1-1 periods throughout the camp. We also will be using College “out-of-bounds” rules with the 3-point takedown. We will be using 2, 3, and 4 point near-fall as well.

Overtime criteria is as follows:

-2:00 sudden victory

-0:30 rideout for each athlete

-Unlimited Time for first takedown or infraction

Usage Rule

A team can move members up weights if they want. You may also wrestle an athlete up to 2 matches per dual (no more). Each athlete can do this a MAX of 3 times throughout the Camp. Once they reach the max of 3 they are not allowed to wrestle any more than 1 match per dual. Once pool play is done and we enter the knockout stage of the Noke Team Camp, a team is allowed to add any of their actual team members (from same High School) that were put out as free agents to cover holes in their lineup. Singlet not necessary.

Rationale: To create a balanced and fair tournament.

Free Agent Rule

Once you have confirmed a team for the Noke Team Camp, you will let us know. We will then put that option for that team on the registration process. Coaches will be able to see who has registered for their team. The Free Agent draft can address any holes you have. You do not have to have a team full of just your high school athletes. You can put a team together with anyone you wish.

Rationale: Eliminate forfeits + create a very competitive dual setting

Bumping Rule

During the duals, you can wrestle any of your athletes up to 2 matches per dual (bumping them up a weight-never down a weight) a TOTAL of 3 times per athlete throughout the entire camp. You are only allowed to wrestle an athlete multiple times 1 time per dual per dual (for example you can not have 3 studs and bump all 3 up to wrestle multiple times for a dual- you could only have one of those guys wrestle twice per dual until theyve done it 3 times.)

Rationale: Eliminate Forfeits + max out on matches

Team Rule

Once the pool format is over and we enter the knockout stage- as a coach you can fill any holes because of injuries with guys from your high school/club that you put on the free agent list. This must be done through me and before we start the knockout tournament.

Rationale: Do not want to punish teams for putting some of their backups as free agents + not punish teams for bringing a lot of athletes to camp

Exhibitions Rule

If your dual is over and there are some duals not finished, you are welcome to set up exhibition matches.

Rationale: To get your athletes matches
